Tired of unwanted AI-generated overviews cluttering up your Google searches? We’ve developed AiFilter — a simple Chrome extension that automatically adds -ai to your searches. That means cleaner results and more control over what you see.

We know how questionable third-party plugins can be. That’s why we developed AiFilter to be completely open source. Instead of relying on unknown developers, you get full access to the code. Review it yourself and be sure there’s nothing shady going on under the hood.

Chrome Web Store, Firefox Update

We have also submitted AiFilter to the Google Chrome Store and Firefox Addons. Once the extension has passed validation, we’ll update this post with the store link for quick and easy installation. Until then, you can also download and load the extension manually.

Announcement of a New Policy on Artificial Intelligence Usage

As technology changes, so do our expectations for content creation and sharing. To maintain transparency and protect originality and authenticity, we are introducing a new policy for the use of AI tools in editorial content, customer reviews and comments.

What’s changing?

Well, AI tools can now only be used as reference material when formulating content. However, AI may not be used to create written content for consumers. This ensures that all content is the result of genuine human ideas and innovation. AI may not be used to create works that can be classified as plagiarized or counterfeit, or that feign actual authorship.

If AI tools are used for research purposes, their use must be disclosed to the relevant examiners. Transparency must also be ensured by providing clear information on how and where the AI was used

Why this is important

We value trust and originality in the content that appears on our platform. Our plan is to treat AI as a delivery and research tool only and require the highest level of disclosure for all our content (i.e. this was generated by AI, you are entitled to a human-generated experience) – the ethical plan is in place.
