In an age where swimwear is typically reserved for thinner and younger females, it tends to leave other females feeling body shamed. This inspired the founders of a Miami-based Swimwear Company to do something about it.
Kris Izquierdo and his girlfriend, Tanya Barahona, had always wanted to start a business that made people feel confident and better about themselves. The only problem was that they were living in two separate states at the time. They knew that creating a new business would not only allow them to raise the money to be able to live together, but it would allow them to help others feel confident in the process. Both 22 years old and bouncing from job to job they took a leap of faith and went all in with their idea. In April of 2018 they started their new Miami-based swimwear company called “Breezy Swim.”
Their mission was simple, to launch a swimwear company that empowers all women to feel confident in any swimsuit, regardless of age or body shape. The young couple knew they were onto a great idea when they started this business. All they needed was a catchy slogan to attract people’s attention and generate their first sales. “Every body is a bikini body” became the slogan they decided on for the company.
They were now well on their way to getting their first sale, when they soon realized they had limited funds left for marketing. So the young couple decided to market their new slogan and swimwear on social media. Once they did, it changed their lives forever. In just 3 months, their Instagram account went from having 0 followers to having over 65,000 followers.
“We want females to feel confident in any swimwear, regardless of age or body shape,” the founders state on their website. “Breezy Swim caters to all shapes and sizes inspired by women globally. Our swimwear gives us the chance for women to feel their best and to take on the world, no matter where they come from!”
Since Breezy Swim’s website first launched, it has sold more than 10,000 swimsuits to a global customer base. This has generated the company more than $350,000 in sales within its first financial quarter.

I usually hate wearing swimming costumes but I love my blue coral swimsuit from Breezy Swimwear. I love the colour and the cut of the swimsuit. Sadly I live in Scotland but cannot wait to go on holiday to wear this on the beach, every day.

I had the best attention with this beautiful brand BreezySwim. Attentive, respectful, considerate and kind. It is worth mentioning the quality of their products and the wonderful message that comes with them, the acceptance of your body.

Avoid! They’re scammers!
I signed up for the breezyswim “ambassador” program and on the sign up page there was a promised $50USD when you join. I used my own promo code to get a discount on my membership auto renewal AND on an item that I bought in addition to the 3 monthly credit items. Commission is supposed to be 20% I NEVER RECIEVED any of that! Not to mention I was charged for a second months membership less than 30 days after the first payment came out of my account. As a consequence I made my first order on the 12th and another on the 26th of June. They have sent out my orders and just received the first one on the 24th of July.
Their return/refund policy also states you can ONLY receive a refund in the form of store credit or exchange the item/s. Which means you can’t get your money back! After not getting the money I was owed, I was going to not even try on the bikinis and just send it all back to get my money back but you can’t, they only offer store credit.
They also started in a different influencer email that you can’t cash out until you receive $250! (After I had already joined). That is ridiculous considering they don’t even pay you the money you’re promised or owed! And even if they did in order to get that your code would need to be used several times (each time you’re meant to get 20% commission). So you’d have to be quite popular on social media and have many people use your code, or you use your own code each month for the ambassador membership cost, which would mean they’re taking your money for months!
The shipping cost is expensive! Its like paying for an additional “membership” each time! A legitimate company would either include the shipping cost in their monthly membership cost or offer low shipping costs considering you’re an influencer/brand ambassador of theirs! Instead I had to pay around $50 shipping cost to receive 5 items (it was $40 something to get the 3 credit/“free” monthly items, and there was a bikini I really liked but it wasn’t included in the free/credit selection, so I used my code to pay for that and overall shipping was around $50AUD). I’ve bought bikinis from several companies overseas and never had to pay that much for shipping!
After all this crap I chose to stick it out, contact them and wait for the money to show up in my account. I emailed them 3 times and messaged them on Instagram but never got a response! I even waited until just days before my membership was due to renew again, but still no money was showing up in the affiliate portal so I cancelled my membership.
When I investigated their refund/return/cancellation policy through the shop app I saw they even have a cancellation fee of $12.95! Or something like that.
Nor do they even acknowledge their “brand ambassadors/influencers” on their Instagram page (no ambassador highlights, no stating check out our brand ambassador in x breezy swimwear etc) which should have been a telltale sign they are not legit.
The only positives from my experience are you receive what you ordered, the swimwear is beautiful and seems good quality but the bad far outweighs the good!
In conclusion the “ambassador” program for breezyswim is a scam and needs to be avoided!

I am not willing to give this company any stars, when I first signed up I was not made aware that of you want to cancel you would have to pay a cancellation fee every 30 days, from August to September they have charged me £365.00 in total. Which has put a lot of stress on me I only noticed this my checking my bank account. The cancellation fee started at 20.00 then dropped down to 15.00 only to then increase again by 150.00. I am appalled with their services.

Scam. The positive reviews here, all posted days apart, are clearly fake.

Not sure why my review had 5 stars above. This company deserves NO stars. I am screencapping this page as legal proof I am submitting a NEGATIVE review.
