I’ll be the first to admit I am NO matcha tea expert. However, I do enjoy this tea a lot. It has a very green, planty taste kind of. It is a lot stronger than something like generic green tea bags from different brands I have tried. I use a tiny whisk to stir it up in hot water and drink. There are some grains at the bottom of the cup that I drink, but it isn’t as crazy as greek coffee or anything like that with a thick sludge at the bottom. I like that this gives me the benefits of green tea without having to down as many cups of it, because the matcha is much more potent.

From everything that we have bought and tried, this remains the best matcha that we have tried thus far. While it’s not the cheapest out there, we have learned that high-quality does come with a price, and we will oblige.
If you’re new into matcha and or think that it has a weird taste (it’s earthy), look up online for recipes and whatnot because you’re most likely doing it wrong. Enjoy, friends!

Matcha.com is a scam. They ship the first orders on time. But soon they keep charging your credit card and stop sending product. Chat messages and emails to their support desk are never answered.

I researched matcha, its benefits, where the best is grown, etc., off and on for months before I finally ordered it. Once I received my shipment, I was so excited to try it. The pride in their product comes through, even in their packaging. I was sold after my first bowl. I highly recommend purchasing the bamboo whisk, sifter and a bowl, if possible. The ritual of preparation is a meditation, itself. I currently have the ceremonial grade. I feel better after drinking it…less sluggish, but not from a caffeine high… more like a subtle ability to concentrate better. It doesn’t mess with my glucose levels (I love my coffee, but I really dread the crash, afterward) I’m going to try the culinary grade for daily use. It’s become such an easy way to contribute to my wellbeing. Thanks so much to the team at Matcha.com and the growers of this amazing drink.

I had been receiving a subscription of matcha from them for over a year and found another supplier that provides similar quality for a fraction of the price. I cancelled my subscription through their website and they charged me for a bowl I never ordered and sent it to an address where I no longer reside.
When I emailed them to address the issue they completely ignored my concern and request for a refund and told me I needed to pay for shipping to return the item before processing the return (ignoring the fact that I am no longer at that address and thousands of miles away from where it was shipped).
Costumer service is highly disappointing— they are not here to satisfy the consumer, only make money off of you. If you order from them and have a issue don’t expect to have it resolved.

They also claimed that any coupon code automatically disqualifies returns and “as is” receipt of the product.

When I confirmed that i’d like to place an order, they suddenly told me that the market conditions changed and the price was now 25% higher. It had only been 3 weeks since the initial quote. They also kept changing the terms on what bag sizes were available and the delivery lead time. After going back to my bosses and clients and going through another round of discussions, they reluctantly agreed to the new terms and pricing. When i confirmed the order a 2nd time with the new pricing and terms, they jacked the price another 25% and said that the market conditions changed AGAIN! Within the same week?! So much wasted time and effort. They are either a scam or have no idea how to do business.
