Record the renewal and cancellation dates, notice method, authorized decision maker, funding conditions, performance review, price changes, and data-exit lead time. Use internal reminders well before the vendor deadline. Do not let silence commit funds when the buyer’s authority or procurement rules require an affirmative action.
