List each deliverable and distinguish buyer data, standard vendor software, configuration, custom code, interfaces, reports, and documentation. Define ownership or license scope, access, reuse, modification, third-party support, delivery format, and rights after termination. Do not assume payment transfers intellectual property rights. FAR Subpart 27.4 shows why data and software rights must be stated explicitly.
